Location: Leiden, South Holland
Salary: Up to €2900 per month
Work Model: 40 hours per week, On-site
Contract: Initial temporary contract via Gi Life Sciences

Join a leading Chemical and Industrial Water Management company in Leiden as a Chemistry Laboratory Technician!
Role Description
You'll be part of a team helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments, by providing laboratory support to customers through routine chemical tests on water samples using Ion Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography and wet chemical tests.

- Hours: Full-time position (40 hours/week) with structured work-life balance
Your Responsibilities
- Provide laboratory support to customers and working with multiple project leaders as needed.
- Sample registration, preparation and analysis of water and product samples.
- Processing analytical data and interpreting chromatograms to issue reports for internal customers.
- Updating SOP's, waste management and housekeeping.
- Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate Chromatographic equipment.
- Being a member of multi-functional product development teams - supporting these teams through the generation, recording, and communication of laboratory data to the team.
Qualifications and Experience
- MBO, HBO, or Bachelor level degree such as Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemisch-Fysisch Analist.
- Experience working in a lab environment (including in academic or internship context).
- Basic knowledge of Chromatographic techniques needed to analyze water and product samples.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Experience in experimental design and analysis.
- Experience working with statistical software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
