  • Salary: Up to €50,400 per year (based on 40 hours)

  • Work Model: Full-time | Onsite | Shift-based
  • Contract Type: 12-month temporary contract with strong intention to extend
  • Working Environment: Regulated laboratories and cleanroom facilities


Your Role

As a QC Microbiology Analyst, you'll perform routine microbiological testing and environmental monitoring in a cleanroom environment. Following approved SOPs and aseptic techniques, you'll generate, review, and trend data that supports product quality, compliance, and patient safety in a fast-paced biotech setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms and controlled areas
  • Execute microbiological assays including Endotoxin, Sterility, Bioburden, and plate reading
  • Perform data entry, result review, and trending of microbiological test results
  • Support routine maintenance and upkeep of laboratory equipment and workspaces
  • Follow approved procedures, SOPs, and safety regulations at all times
  • Support departmental and cross-functional projects within QC Microbiology
  • Contribute to a compliant, inspection-ready QC environment


Qualifications & Experience

  • MLO level 3/4 (MBO) or BSc in Microbiology, Biology, or a related life science field
  • 0–4 years of experience in a microbiology lab or environmental monitoring role — recent graduates welcome
  • Hands-on experience with microbiological techniques (air, surface, and water monitoring)
  • Experience working in or around cleanroom environments using aseptic techniques
  • Ability to gown for cleanroom entry and lift up to approximately 12 kg
  • Familiar with GMP regulations and quality control processes
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong English communication skills; Dutch not required
  • Comfortable with repetitive, detail-oriented work in a fast-paced environment
