Your Role
As a QC Microbiology Analyst, you'll perform routine microbiological testing and environmental monitoring in a cleanroom environment. Following approved SOPs and aseptic techniques, you'll generate, review, and trend data that supports product quality, compliance, and patient safety in a fast-paced biotech setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms and controlled areas
- Execute microbiological assays including Endotoxin, Sterility, Bioburden, and plate reading
- Perform data entry, result review, and trending of microbiological test results
- Support routine maintenance and upkeep of laboratory equipment and workspaces
- Follow approved procedures, SOPs, and safety regulations at all times
- Support departmental and cross-functional projects within QC Microbiology
- Contribute to a compliant, inspection-ready QC environment
Qualifications & Experience
- MLO level 3/4 (MBO) or BSc in Microbiology, Biology, or a related life science field
- 0–4 years of experience in a microbiology lab or environmental monitoring role — recent graduates welcome
- Hands-on experience with microbiological techniques (air, surface, and water monitoring)
- Experience working in or around cleanroom environments using aseptic techniques
- Ability to gown for cleanroom entry and lift up to approximately 12 kg
- Familiar with GMP regulations and quality control processes
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong English communication skills; Dutch not required
- Comfortable with repetitive, detail-oriented work in a fast-paced environment
