- Work Model: Full-time | Onsite | Shift-based
- Contract Type: 12-month temporary contract with strong intention to extend or convert to permanent
- Working Environment: GMP-regulated laboratories and cleanroom facilities
- Team: Join a QC Microbiology team of 20+ Analysts, Senior Analysts, and Lead Analysts
Your Role
As a QC Microbiology Analyst, you’ll perform routine microbiological testing and environmental monitoring in a GMP cleanroom environment. Using your microbiology expertise and aseptic techniques, you’ll generate, review, and trend data that supports product quality, compliance, and patient safety in a fast-paced biotech setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform environmental monitoring of GMP cleanrooms and controlled areas
- Execute microbiological assays including Endotoxin, Sterility, Bioburden, and plate reading
- Perform data entry, result review, and trending of microbiological test results
- Support routine maintenance and upkeep of laboratory equipment and workspaces
- Follow approved GMP procedures, SOPs, and safety regulations at all times
- Support departmental and cross-functional projects within QC Microbiology
- Contribute to a compliant, inspection-ready QC environment
- Perform additional duties as required to support QC objectives
Qualifications & Experience
- MLO level 3 or Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology (or related field) preferred
- 0–4 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory and/or environmental monitoring role
- Hands-on experience with microbiological techniques such as air, surface, and water monitoring
- Experience working in cleanroom environments using aseptic techniques
- Ability to gown for cleanroom entry and lift up to approximately 12 kg
- Knowledge of GMP, regulations, and quality control processes
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related applications
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written); Dutch not required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing biotech environment
