Cell Therapy Specialist I – Production and Production Support


For our client in the biopharmaceutical industry, we are seeking a Cell Therapy Specialist to join either the Production Team or the Production Support Team. If you have an MBO in Life Sciences and are eager to start your career in advanced therapies manufacturing, this is your chance to apply!


Production Support Team (PST):

  • Coordinate apheresis accession and transfer to manufacturing.
  • Prepare and supply cleanroom environments with materials and growth media.
  • Decontaminate materials before delivery to manufacturing suites.
  • Review and complete batch documentation for timely product release.
  • Perform visual inspection of final products and manage cryopreservation.
  • Transfer samples to Quality Control for analysis.
  • Initiate and contribute to process improvements and change management.


Production Team (PT):

  • Execute manufacturing processes for clinical and commercial products in cleanroom areas.
  • Complete batch records and maintain GMP standards.
  • Draft and revise SOPs and work instructions to optimize process and compliance.
  • Assist in deviation investigations and troubleshoot processing/equipment issues.
  • Uphold cleanroom standards and ensure consistent, high-quality output.
  • Initiate and support continuous improvement initiatives.


Cross-Team Duties:

  • Collaborate closely with teams across Production Support, Product Sciences, Material Management, and Quality Assurance.
  • Strictly follow SOPs and GMP regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing change management and process optimization.


Additional Information

  • Rotational shift work—including mornings, evenings, and weekends—is required.
  • Working with blood products requires Hepatitis B vaccination (company can facilitate if needed).


Your Profile

  • MLO/MBO/HBO-level education, Life Sciences background.
  • GMP experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related manufacturing is essential.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing and aseptic techniques.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and data analysis proficiency.
  • Vapro A/B or LITOP A/B certifications are advantageous.


Personal Skills

  • Hands-on, proactive attitude suited to a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable following SOPs in a fully gowned aseptic setting.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities as needed.
  • Strong English communication skills; Dutch not required.
  • Open-minded and aligned with company values.
