Our client, a leading global FMCG organisation based in Rotterdam, is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst Foods Benelux (40 hours, hybrid).


Role

As a Finance Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the Benelux Foods Finance team and partnering with the wider Europe Foods Finance organization. You'll help deliver accurate financial planning and reporting, provide valuable business insights, and contribute to projects that drive business performance.


Offer

  • Temporary Phase A agency contract (CLA ABU) via Grafton with possible extension (not guaranteed)
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration of the assignment: 19 February 2027
  • Salary depending on experience: between € 4.200-€ 5.400 gross per month based on 40 hours; since it is a weekly payment this will be € 24,23-€ 31,15.
  • Other benefits: 8 % holiday allowance, 5% for ADV days, € 2,45 work-from-home allowance; 25 vacation days annually (based on fulltime), pension scheme based on Stipp Basis regulation, travel allowance


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and forecasting processes.
  • Co-own the monthly financial closing process, ensuring accurate reporting and providing clear analysis and insights into business performance.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
  • Analyse financial performance and identify risks, opportunities, and trends.
  • Support strategic and financial initiatives that improve business results.


Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Finance Analyst or Finance Business Partner role, preferably within an FMCG or commercial environment.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, month-end reporting, and P&L analysis.
  • Experience driving business performance improvements through financial analysis and insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
