Salary: up to €77,000 gross/year | Contract: until 18-12-2026 (extension possible) | Oss, on-site | Full-time, 40h/week
We are hiring (as an agency on behalf of our client) a Packaging Engineer to support a major pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Oss. In this role, you will bring packaging technology and equipment expertise to production areas—ensuring packaging processes, equipment and changes are implemented safely, efficiently and GMP-compliantly.

What will be your activities within this role?
- Provide packaging technology expertise to Manufacturing, incl. transfer and implementation of new packaging processes/technologies.
- Produce engineering project documentation (plans, protocols/reports, risk assessments, change control, URS, qualification docs).
- Lead and document investigations and root-cause analyses for CAPEX, changes and improvements (incl. CAPA follow-up).
- Execute and report equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) for products, processes and technologies.
- Operate within QMS, SHE/EHS, deviation management and change control requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement with Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, Supply, Facilities and Engineering.
- Ensure GMP and SHE compliance to enable safe, compliant operations.
What do you get as Packaging Engineer?
- Salary up to €77,000 gross per year (depending on experience);
- Contract until 18-12-2026, with extension possible;
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00;

- Work in multidisciplinary (local and international) project teams with direct impact on packaging performance and compliance;

What do we seek in a Packaging Engineer
- HBO level (Bachelor or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong technical/technological orientation; able to maintain overview and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience writing protocols and performing/reporting equipment qualifications.
- Knowledge of secondary and tertiary packaging technologies and packaging materials.
- Knowledge of GMP requirements, EHS/SHE guidelines and preferably Lean principles.
