Salary: up to €77,000 gross/year | Contract: until 18-12-2026 (extension possible) | Oss, on-site | Full-time, 40h/week
We are hiring (as an agency on behalf of our client) a Packaging Engineer to support a major pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Oss. In this role, you will bring packaging technology and equipment expertise to production areas—ensuring packaging processes, equipment and changes are implemented safely, efficiently and GMP-compliantly.
Offer (placed early for SEO + conversion)
- Salary up to €77,000 gross per year (depending on experience)
- Contract until 18-12-2026, with extension possible
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00
- Work in multidisciplinary (local and international) project teams with direct impact on packaging performance and compliance
- Agency support throughout the process; placement at the client company
What you’ll do
- Provide packaging technology expertise to manufacturing, including transfer of new packaging processes and introduction of packaging/process technologies.
- Create and deliver engineering project documentation such as protocols and reports, project plans, risk assessments, change documentation, URS, and qualification protocols/reports.
- Set up, coordinate, execute and report investigations (fact finding, significant investigations, root cause analysis) related to CAPEX, changes and improvements.
- Execute and report equipment qualification activities (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ) for products, processes and technologies.
- Work within systems and processes such as Quality Management System (QMS), SHE/EHS systems, deviation management and change control.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, products, technologies and systems in collaboration with Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, Supply, Facilities and Engineering.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to GMP and SHE, enabling teams to work safely and compliantly.
What you bring
- HBO level (Bachelor or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong technical/technological orientation; able to maintain overview and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience writing protocols and performing/reporting equipment qualifications.
- Knowledge of secondary and tertiary packaging technologies and packaging materials.
- Knowledge of GMP requirements, EHS/SHE guidelines and preferably Lean principles.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (written and verbal).
- Proactive, results-driven, flexible and able to influence and challenge constructively.
