What you’ll do

  • Execute hands-on Materials Science & Engineering lab work to support MS&E projects and investigations, with a focus on extraneous matter and packaging topics.
  • Use techniques such as SEM-EDX, FTIR, Raman, Optical Microscopy, tensile/compression testing and X-ray inspection.
  • Support and assist MS&E in organizing and executing global Analytical Sciences laboratory activities within a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting, structured problem solving and documentation in support of QA/QC and manufacturing needs.
  • Write and support (technical) investigation reports with clear conclusions and data-based rationale.

What we offer (SEO-optimized placement: before requirements, to increase applies)

  • A 12-month contract via our agency (maternity leave replacement) at a top-tier pharma client in Oss.
  • A role with strong practical exposure to analytical chemistry, materials science, packaging investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Working in a professional Analytical Sciences environment at Pivot Park (Oss) with a collaborative specialist team.
  • Competitive employment conditions (salary, allowances and benefits to be shared based on your profile and availability).

What you bring

  • Bachelor degree (HBO/BSc) with hands-on laboratory experience, preferably in Pharmaceutical / Physical / Chemical / Analytical Science.
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of one or more of the listed techniques (e.g., SEM-EDX, FTIR, Raman, microscopy, mechanical testing).
  • Experience with technical writing and documenting results (investigation reports).
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, take ownership, and perform well under time pressure.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing, testing and/or product investigations is a plus.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Confident computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
