QC Laboratory Associate - Sample Operations | €46.890 per year | Hoofddorp

Join a pioneering Biotech and Pharmaceutical organization in Hoofddorp as a QC Laboratory Associate (Sample Management).

Note: This role is specifically tailored for vocational (MLO) or applied science (HBO) graduates.

Role

As a Sample Management Technician, you are responsible for the physical flow of samples. You will ensure high-quality support for Quality Control by managing the end-to-end sample lifecycle.

This role requires aseptic technique proficiency and a high level of discipline to maintain a continuous, compliant sample flow.

Offer

• Salary: €46.890 per year
• Location: Hoofddorp (100% On-site)
• Contract: Initial 12-month contract (possibility of extension)
• Shift Pattern: Strict 4-on, 2-off rotation. * 4 days Morning (07:00–16:00), 2 days off. 4 days Evening (15:00–00:00), 2 days off.
• Includes weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive QC samples and EM plates, distribute to labs, and manage transfers between -80°C and LN2 (Liquid Nitrogen) storage.
• Escalate deviations and participate in practical, small-scale improvement projects.
• Strictly follow SOPs and safety regulations.
• High-accuracy data entry to minimize administrative errors.

Qualifications & Experience

• MLO (level 3 or 4) or HBO / Bachelor (BSc) in Laboratory Sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology, or similar.
• Note: This role is specifically tailored for vocational (MLO) or applied science (HBO) graduates.
• Experience: Previous experience in a technical or operational role within Biotech or Pharma is preferred.
• You enjoy a structured environment and physical laboratory tasks.
• Communication: Effective English skills (written and verbal).
• Requirement: Full availability to work according to the shift schedule
