For the rapidly growing warehouse operation in Almere, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who can lead supervisors, optimize automated processes, and ensure operational excellence across multiple departments.
As Operations Manager, you are responsible for the end‑to‑end performance of the warehouse operation. You lead and coach Supervisors, oversee daily workflows, and drive continuous improvement in a highly dynamic, automated fashion logistics environment. You ensure that service levels, productivity targets, and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop Supervisors across multiple operational departments.
- Oversee daily warehouse performance, ensuring productivity, quality, and throughput targets are achieved.
- Optimize automated processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs, translating insights into actionable improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Coordinate cross‑departmental workflows, ensuring smooth collaboration between inbound, outbound, returns, and value‑added services.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process redesign, automation enhancements, and workforce planning.
- Act as the operational point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support peak periods and manage shift‑related challenges in a fast‑moving environment.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in logistics operations management; fashion logistics is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams.
- Comfortable working with automated warehouse systems and WMS platforms.
- Analytical mindset with experience in KPI management and process optimization.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
- Structured, solution‑oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
- Flexible availability across multiple shifts when required (day/evening/night shifts and possibly a weekend shift - saturday during peak seasons).
What We Offer:
- Salary: €5.000 – €7.000 gross per month, depending on experience.
- 8.75% shift allowance when working in shifts.
- 24 vacation days + 3.5 ATV days (full-time).
- Travel allowance for commuting to the Warehouse in Almere.
